Product Information: WuFuYuan (五福圆) Black Sugar Flavor Tapioca Pearls, 250g, are quick-cook type tapioca pearls that can be cooked on the stove or microwaved and are ready to eat in just 3 minutes. They are popularly used in bubble tea, coffee, or various desserts.
There are two main ways to cook WuFuYuan Brown Sugar Flavor Tapioca Pearls quickly, depending on your convenience.
Method 1:
1.1 Cook on a gas or electric stove. (Recommended for chewiness) 1.1 Bring water to a rolling boil: Bring water in a pot to a rolling boil (use a ratio of 10 parts water to 1 part tapioca pearls to prevent them from sticking together).
1.2 Add tapioca pearls: Gently pour the tapioca pearls into the boiling water and stir gently to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
1.3 Boil for 3 minutes: Let it boil for 3 minutes.
1.4 Continue steaming: Turn off the heat, remove the pot from the stove, and cover the pot to steam for another 2-3 minutes to allow the core of the tapioca pearls to be thoroughly cooked and soft.
1.5 Rinse with water: Scoop the tapioca pearls out and soak or rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. This will help maintain their chewy and bouncy texture, preventing them from becoming mushy.
Method 2: Using a microwave (the easiest and fastest method)
2.1 Prepare a bowl: Place the tapioca pearls in a microwave-safe bowl.
2.2 Add water: Add enough water to cover the tapioca pearls.
2.3 Microwave for 3 minutes: Microwave on high heat for 3 minutes.
2.4 Rinse with water: Carefully remove from the microwave. Scoop out the tapioca pearls and rinse them under cold water to help them set and become chewy.
