Product Infomation : Vinh Thuan Bot Banh Cuon is a popular brand of flour for making Vietnamese wet rice paper, which is a thin, delicate, and translucent wrapper used to encase a filling of ground pork, mushrooms, and shallots. The flour is made from rice and tapioca starch, and is specifically formulated to produce the thin and pliable texture needed for making banh cuon. Vietnamese riceflour for making rice sheets which can be filled with pork (cha sieuw) or shrimps, prepared by steaming.

To make banh cuon using Vinh Thuan Bot Banh Cuon, you first need to mix the flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth batter. Then, pour a thin layer of the batter onto a hot steamer tray and let it cook for a minute or so until the batter sets. Use a spatula to carefully lift the cooked rice paper from the steamer and transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process until you have enough rice paper for your desired number of banh cuon.

To assemble the banh cuon, place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each rice paper and roll it up into a cylinder. Serve the banh cuon with a dipping sauce made with fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, garlic, and chili.
